Faster public disclosure has made hackers slow down. However, this remains insufficient for compliance teams to truly stay ahead. Meanwhile, the lifting of sanctions on Tornado Cash has simplified both laundering and cash-out.
Based on our analysis of 255 crypto hacks in 2025, including insights from H1 2025, we break down how the laundering landscape has changed. This live panel brings together experts in blockchain analytics, investigations, compliance and cross-chain infrastructure to discuss how businesses can operate effectively in this new reality and win the race.
We’ll Discuss
$2.05B
Flowed into Tornado Cash
Tornado Cash received over $2.05B on Ethereum, including ~$654.98M from high-risk sources such as hacks, scams, phishing, and high-risk exchanges.
~2.1×
Narrowed disclosure gap
The avg. disclosure gap fell from ~23 in H1 to ~11 hours in H2, accelerating hackers’ first moves, yet still not giving compliance teams enough time to win the race.
$2.01B
Routed through bridges
That’s nearly 50% of total losses and over 3× more than via mixers and privacy protocols, reflecting the nature of cross-chain infrastructure.

How is the GL Score calculated?
The GL Score is a number from 0 to 100 that shows the degree of risk: low, medium, and high. Each score is represented by a corresponding color: green indicates low risk, yellow indicates medium risk, and red — high risk. The risk score is derived from the assessment of the riskiness of sources contributing to a requested address or transaction.
To calculate the score, the algorithm analyzes incoming transactions, assesses the risk of identified sources, and calculates a score on a scale from 0 to 100. This score provides an indication of the potential level of risk associated with the address or transaction based on the evaluated sources and their associated activities. Learn more about risk score calculation from our blog article.
